We offer high quality and compassionate care for your pet
Tina has been with Winston Veterinary Hospital for 21 years, and in the pet profession on a whole for 30 years. Before starting in Veterinary Medicine, Tina worked in a pet store for 8 years. At one time her wish was to be a nurse which she tried but decided that she really missed working with pets , so she returned to veterinary medicine.
Tina's special interests are nutrition, dental health , and educating clients on preventive care for their pet. Dogs and cats never seem to mind when Tina takes their temperature, or gets a blood sample. One of the reasons Tina is so skilled, is she enjoys continuing her education. She is a certified Veterinary Dental Technician and a Veterinary Nutritional consultant. She also spends time on the Internet, participating in technician chat groups, and she is also our website "designer" Tina trains all new assistants that come on staff at Winston Vet.
Tina's family includes husband, Richard, and 4 dogs, Petey, Zip, Bug, and William, 4 cats,, Penny, Mutt ,Murphy and Cleo, , 15 goats, an amazon parrot, Jed, and several chickens. Her interests include gardening, canning, reading, biking , and spending time with Richard and her "extended" family.
